Melissa has spent over 17 years in Customer Service before coming to QISS. She has a wide range of experience including owning and managing her own business for over 4 years, beginning at the young age of 20!! Soon afterward, she began her career in the insurance industry. She has sold personal and commercial policies, provided customer service and technical support for both individual policy holders, and commercial clients. Immediately before coming to QISS she provided technical support for a commercial policy management software company. She is often the first voice you hear when calling the QISS help desk.
 Melissa is a country girl. Born in Bluefield, Virginia, she grew up in Nacagdoches Texas. She lives on a farm with her two daughters. They raise Angus cattle, get eggs straight from their own live chickens, have two dogs, and two DUCKS!! Melissa loves music, cooking, decorating, farming with her family. She is a very outgoing, social person, who is a pleasure to be around.
Interesting fact about Melissa: She once survived a near fatal cotton mouth snake bite at age 9. She barely escaped having her foot amputated.
